I move my Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop running Windows XP Pro SP3 from home to office, and so I use two printers.
I installed my Officejet 5610v All-in-One using the latest drivers downloaded from www.hp.com. It installed, and works well from the front control panel, but the HP Solution Center icon does not appear on my desktop.
I then installed my Officejet 6210 All-in-One using the latest drivers downloaded from www.hp.com, and I now have an HP Director icon on my desktop. The unit works well from the front control panel or from the HP Director, but the Director only recognizes the HP6210, not the HP5610v.
How can I get the HP5610v to appear as a second printer option in the HP Director, or how do I get an HP Solution Center to install on my desktop?
I'd be happy with either solution.
