I have yet again gone out and bought yet ANOTHER HP product which will NOT work?? And HP site is as usual a load of turns and switches with NO real replies and certainly NO answers!

I have an HP PS Wireless eAIO Prinetr B110A (it says this on the box!!) BUT according to HP site this is NOT a make they asscoiate withand CERTAINLY do not manufacture!?? I have a serial Number CN09L2H2GB but YET again HP do NOT recognise this as one of there own! (It's ON THE BOX!)

I then try to FIND my printer by using the WONDERFUL technology that exists at HP on the WONDERFUL site which is HP..........OOPS! Or is that OOF??? I am NOT using a known browser, like Firefox 3.5/3.6 (YES I AM!!) Nor am I using an operating system they recognise like Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit????? HELLO!! YES I AM!!! So they cannot detect my printer?? Funny that as my system can?? And the printer report says it can detect my printer and my firewall is detecting it and allowing it access?? In fact everything in the world knows where and what my printer is apart from HP??

Ah well lets try again eh?? Lets setup to allow scanning to the PC eh? OOF there we are again!) The printer will not work as it cannot be detected?????? But it is DETECTED in ALL respects??? Hmmmm.

So the HP site?? BIGGEST SACK OF CACK I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!! It simply does nothing it is supposed to do! It wil not of course detect my printer we have already established! And even though I have several items logged as being mine and I have an account with HP and have had an account for some ten years all of a sudden the ID and PASSWORD I have used for tenyears is no longer accepted??? So I reset my id and password??? And hey presto guess what? (And guess SH1T first!) My id is as it alwys has been for the last ten years! And my pass word? Well we will never know as I am not allowed to use the same password!! Which of course means that password WAS right after all? never mind we alter that as well to something I will NOT remember!

The whole thing is a bloody nightmare. HP is a nightmare!! Like last year I was SO incensed I actually was "INVITED" to discuss my problems by the CHAIR of HP in the USA!! He sent me a questionairre sort of thing and I filled it in and then I got back a nice note from the makers of the email delivey system to say that my message was undeliverable as the email address I was using did not exist??? And as no-one woudl reply to me again from HP I was of course unable to do a thing about it!

I KNOW i said I would never ever buy another HP item whilst my backside pointed down! But OK so I relented in a moment of weakness! BUT this is it HP I will never buy another thing from you!! i was dissapointed when my Camera went T Up after 1 yr and 10 days and you refused to help. the fact I had used it once was a factor against it?? but hey, one year is just that! And the subsequent not being able to get in touch, the site NOT working, all the apologies I got..............NOT!

Be aware buy HP products at your peril!! They do NOT work 99:100 times and the service you get is worse in most instances than that of Epson! And that is BAD!!!

BUT if anyone knows HOW to get a wireless printer to work (Even IF HP do not make it and I do not use win7 and Firefox 3.6) perhaps you would get in touch and let me know how YOU did it?? Managed to get it to work that is?? Me at least I have a rather large block to fit in my new wall and when covered over with cement it will look like ANY other brick eh?

Regards and ALL best wishes to all

Re: HP?

[ Edited ]

What printer?? As I said I don't actually HAVE a printer as HP say I don't??Just as I don't use Windows & or Firefox!!! Despite me copying the details from the box the printer I don't have came in!!! So that page would be NO use at all!!!

Thanks
