I am trying to install   this printer to my laptop..I have Windows  7 Op system...not sure this printer is compatible with windows 7.  i get an error that says my laptop is missing a componet....what do i need to do? this printer is 3 yrs old.

you do have software available for your printer in win7.  Use the Printer Install Wizard for win7 to help figure the best solution for your device.

I have the orig disc that came with the printer.   is there a website to download the software for windows 7?  not sure where to go to do that

in installed hp install wizaerd for win 7....i just tried to install the printer again and i get this message

the software cannont be installed as run as...

i guess the  hp install wizard for win7 installed the printer...i just printed....thank you
