Having so much trouble getting my Photosmart C4795 on my new wireless network.

Hi all.

I have a 2+ year old Photosmart C4795 that has always worked fine. The original install was a breeze.

We just moved and now have a new network, with a new service provider. I've been trying for 2 days to get the printer connected and am running in circles. Ready to toss it out the front door!

I'm running Windows 7 on a Samsung Series 7 laptop. This laptop worked with the C4795 on our previous network.

I uninstalled all software and reinstalled and am having the same trouble.

Choosing to connect over a wireless network, I get the screen asking me to temporaily connect the printer to my computer with the USB cable. So I do and nothing happens. (I've tried all 3 USB ports.) Then I check the box "My computer/printer are already connect via USB" and click NEXT. Then I get the screen asking me to choose my printer from the list and it's not listed so I check the "My printer is not listed" box and click NEXT. It goes back to the screen asking me to connect via USB. ANd it goes on and on and on like this. 

Please help!!!

Thank you for your reply and your suggestion.

I meant to update yesterday and got sidetracked.  My problem was just a faulty cord!  While waiting for a reply here, I decided to buy a new USB cord just in case that was the problem. I was suspicious because nothing at all happened when I was plugging it in to my laptop.

$24.99 at Best Buy later - it worked immediately with the new cord.
