How LaserJet P1006 Printer Solution for Windows 8

This printer is a large part of my work. If the printer can not, then I also can not work.
Yesterday I have just installed windows 8 on my machine. And I've tried looking for a driver for the printer LaserJet P1006 for Windows 8, but did not find. 

What's the solution that I can continue my work, and can use the printer to normal as soon as possible?

At present time it appears you will have to wait.

its funny how hp said by end of 2012 there would be drivers for this printer, then jan 2013 and now it just says soon...If they arent gonna release drivers for this printer, just say so...I know i for one, wont be purchasing anything else by hp because of this...
