How to lower the touchscreen on Officejet Pro 8600

I accidentally raised the touchscreen more than I wanted.  How do I lower it again?

Hi goregexp,

Press down on the screen, and it will retract back into place or to where you want it.

I tried that but it doesn't budge.  It sort of ratchets up and there may be someplace to release it so it can be lowered but if I push harder it's just going to break.

Hi goregexp,

There is a release latch on the right hand side of the display.
