The notebook model will not define the type of printer you need.
At home we run 2 laptops using Wireless 802.11g with the the printer connected to router via hard LAN and one connected via wireless. There is no requirement that the printer be wireless. My recommendation would be to identify a printer that has the functionality you need, with a USB and either a wireless or hard lan network connection.
The USB is just in case your wireless lan goes down and you need to print.
Hardlan is so that you can hook it directly to your router or switch.
Wireless would be if you only run a 802.11 wireless network, the network access point will handle the communication between the laptop and the printer.
Some printers now only have USB and Wireless. Some only have USB and Hardlan. Look carefully at the specs and make sure that the connections are what you want them to be.
