I tried to scan to computer with my 6500A PLUS and it would not work.

I went to the control panel of the printer and selected Scan > Scan to Computer > selected USB connected computer. I would then get the message on the computer that the feature was not installed. When I tried to use the installed software to activate the Scan to Computer feature, it failed.

 

It indicated on the Panel of the printer that it could not find the OCR software and I have IRIS 11 installed. And the soft ware does not have my printer listed for the machines to select from in the set up.

Which Operating system you are using?

Have you installed the full feature software solution?

As well (for Windows), you should see the printer on your desktop.

Click it to launch the software, double click the Scanner Actions and make sure the Scan to Computer is activated.
