Installation of software for printer PSC 1510 All-in-one

Have an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC - notebook.  Totally confused by drivers and the like.  I can follow directions to install the software so I can use the printer.  I have no idea what is being used except that it is window 7 compatible.  Please simplify things so I can download software to install.  Thank you for your time and consideration.

Do you have Windows 7 64-bit, or 32-bit OS?  Ensure that the drivers you download match your OS as far as 64-bit, or 32-bit is concerned.

    I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue as well.  I just got a brand new HP pavilion dv6 running Windows 7 (64bit).  Disconnected my all in one printer PSC 1510 from my other XP computer (working fine) and plugged it into this new laptop.  The computer started locating drivers from the web and was able to load most.  I then downloaded the drivers from the HP site (yes the windows 7 64bit ones).  After installing the drivers and plugging in the printer again it loads a bunch of drivers (DOT4USB, printing support, IEEE 1284.4 compat printer, USB composite device, etc). but not the important one "HPPSC 1500 Series" which fails.  I've tried everything including an HP chat session for over an hour.  The printer icon shows up under printers but has an exclamation on it.

Any ideas I haven't tried?

I have exact problem with my PSC 1510 on Windows 7 x64 Pro Polish.

All drivers install with succes, but not one listed as HPPSC 1500 series...

Any solution?
