Invalid Printer name

When i try to instal my deskjet 3920 printer on Windows XP(32 bit) via CD as well as downloading the s/w from HP website the only message I see is "Printer name is Invalid" Please help me to solve this issue!

How 'bout it HP?  This is a known problem.  I have it myself.  But when people seek help, there is nothing but utter silence.

 

We need someone to spill the beans on this one.

PS.  I'm a programmer.  Why in the world would you make such a cryptic error message such as printer name invalid.  Couldn't you spare a few characters to echo that bad name?  Then someone would have a clue to help address the problem.  Right?
