LaserJet 3390 Voip Fax

I am having difficulty setting up the fax on the laserjet 3390. I have VOIP service.

 

I tried using the developer menu and went to "r/w parameter" and changed the "T30 xmit RateMax" to 16 but it still isn't working.

You are better off to go into the setup menu - fax setup - advanced setup - fax speed, and set this to slow.  On the VOIP side you want to make sure the VOIP provider has set you up with a fax line.  The fax line will use a different CODEC than the voice line which will improve fax reliabiliy.

I work for HP but my posts and replies are my own opinion.
