Laserjet M1132 MFP Printer not recognized [ Edited ]

Hi, I bought a Laserjet M1132 MFP few days, but I do not get recognized by your PC.
When I try to install it and asks me to connect the printer cable, stops them, because it does not recognize the connection.
I tried, in addition to the CD, even downloading the drivers from the site, I changed my cable, I used different USB ports by disconnecting other cables, I checked in the BIOS, which had been activated doors, but I have not solved the problem.
I tried the installation on my notebook with the same OS (Windows XP, pack 3), and have not had any problems. started in the automatic procedure.
Could you help me, please?
Do you know if there is some configuration to do on my PC, to have it recognized the printer?

What happens if you plug in a thumb drive or another USB device into your USB ports on your PC?

Hi gima,

It appears that the USB port on your computer are not working. If you were able to plug the printer into another computer, and it worked fine then this indicates the printer is working fine. You will need to have your computer serviced to see why the USB ports are not working.

True, printing on other PC works.
But it is true also that the other peripheral ones work on the computer about which we are speaking. it is as if the computer does not succeed to only read that printing. In fact I have thought that perhaps it must change some parameter in order to make to read it since the computer has approximately 5 years.

If you plug in another printer or another USB device on this computer does it work?

If the printer works on a different computer without a problem then the printer is working correctly. I would suspect that the USB ports being 5 years old are causing the issue. There could be several reasons that the USB ports are not working correctly. The computer may not be giving the proper power to the USB ports.

Have you tried all the USB ports on this computer?

Yes, the doors I have tried them all, and, they work well. Before there was a printing other that it worked well also. I have only replaced because it has fallen to earth and one has broken.

If you plug the USB cable into the USB ports on this computer, and it doesn't work but works on other computer then you need to have your computer serviced to get the USB ports fixed.

...on the desktop PC the other devices are recognized, only the printer laserjet M1132 is not recognized.
yet I made several attempts with different cables and different ports by using ... I think its a software problem between PC and printer .... : (
