Laserjet M2727nf setting keep resetting!

Hi everyone,

I have a Laserjet M2727nf All-In-One.  It is networked, with a static IP address.  Phone line is installed, so all components are being used.  Other than the IP information, the only other significant configuration change are these:   a configuration page is set to print on a successful fax, and the number 9 is automatically added as the prefix when someone types in a phone number. 

Here is the problem:  From what I'm told by the office staff that uses the printer, it will power down for just a split second, then come back on.  When it does come back online, the configuration page and prefix are set to factory defaults.  The IP information stays intact.  I cannot recreate this problem myself.  For example, let's say I enter the configuration settings.  I then power the printer down with the ON/OFF button and power it back on.  The settings are there.  I also pull the power cord right out of the wall ( I know.....not recommended, but I need to try several things) and the settings are still there!  I contacted HP some time ago and they had me update the firmware.  That still did not fix the problem.  It randomly powers down and back on by itself.  Only when it does this do the settings reset themselves.

Now, this isn't a critical problem....it's more of an annoyance.  I was wondering if any of you have come across this problem or have any suggestions.
