I'm running Windows 7 Premium dual boot with XP and have a PSC 1355 printer. When I came to change the black cartridge in '7 I found I was unable to carry out Head Alignment, Clean Heads, or Print Test Page. The result is that each time the printer is switched on I get the aligning scan page printed. [ I have more than a few now! Hi!! ] This due no doubt because I can't do the aligning procedure.
Would it be advisable to un-install the printer & let Windows 7 detect it anew & install the inbuilt drivers etc? I'm not sure about this step!
Printing functions otherwise are generally OK though page header & footer settings are an issue, not as good as doing printing in Windows XP.
Any help to restore the "House Keeping" facilities for my PSC 1355 would be much appreciated.
Regards,colruss

An amendment to my query! The thing missing is the "HP Toolbox" - this is what I meant by "House Keeping" files.
