My HP Officejet 6310 All-In-One printer fell off table and now message that it is not connected to computer. It will copy, but not print. Everything plugged in as usual. No noticeable damage. Vista is the operating system.

Hi,
I'd try running the HP print diagnostic utility and see if the problem can be resolved. What error exists with the HP print diagnostic utility? Make sure the printer is listed as online and set as default in the printers folder by right clicking on the model icon. Hope this helps, it is quite possible that the drop broke something internally.

The HP Print Diagnostic Utility (aka "PDU") has been replaced by HP's next generation diagnostic tool, the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
All functionality previously available in the PDU and the HP Network Diagnostic Utility (aka "NDU") has been combined in one easy to use tool, the new HP Print and Scan Doctor.
Get the HP Print and Scan Doctor here: www.hp.com/go/tools
Be sure to let HP know how it goes with the new Print and Scan Doctor by taking the short survey you will receive when you are finished with the tool.
Thanks, Kent G.
