Whenever I cold Boot my Laserjet Pro M1217 MFP it displaces "10.1000 Supply Memory Error' and when I select 'OK' it becomes just 'Supply Memory Error'. Does anyone know where in this printer are the memory chip(s) because I read that removing and putting back the chip(s) will cure this problem.

the memory chips are inside component of the printer, which is not allowed for end-user to touch.
I think your error is on supply side, are you using HP geniune supply or non-HP supplies? None-hp supplies used to give such kind of error message, but will not prevent end-user to use it, simply click "OK" after seeing the messsage, it will allow you to get printer into ready state and functioning well.
