OfficeJet 8600 pro date and time

The control panel on my new HPOfficeJet 8600 pro shows Jan 00 00 0000a.  How do I set up today's date and time for faxing? I cannot find anything in the online User Guide or anywhere else.

Hi bodogplf,

I understand you want to change the date and time on your Officejet 8600 Pro.  To do this, from the home screen navigate to the second page by pushing the right arrow.  Here you should see a button that says setup.  Press setup and look for the the preferences button.  Once you press the preferences button the first option should be Date and Time.  When you press this button you can set your date and time which should show up on your faxes.
