Hello everyone, I'm trying to install the software for the officejet 8500 a909n on my bosses computer and about 94% it says Invalid drive Z: then gives out loads of info which at the end says exit code 1603.
Why would it be trying to install on the Z: drive (which is a server in a different room, but still on the network) instead of the C: drive on his computer like I want it to?
Or isn't that what it's trying to do?
The bosses computer is running Vista if that helps.
I tried the work around on the support and troubleshooting page for the 1603 error for it and it still doesn't seem to work.
It installed fine on the computers with XP and the brand new computer which has Vista

Before this screen it just comes up with Error Invalid Drive Z:\
Does anyone have any ideas please?
