Officejet J4550 All in one has been having a problem where the top edge of some lines in a printed document are not being printed. I ran the align cartridge process. No help. Any suggestion for a fix?

Hi Bedmon,
1. Does this happen no matter what application you are printing from?
a. Print fromNotepad or Wordpad to see if the print is cut off?
2. What happens if you print a photo instead of text?
3. What is the cartridge levels?

Definitely does it on both Microsoft Word documents and Windows email. Haven't tried pictures or the two applications you mentioned. Thanks for replying. If happens on all apps, is there is fix?

Hi bedmon,
Lets try a hard reset. While the printer is on unplug the power cable. Leave it unplugged for about 1 to 2 minutes, and then power on the printer. Let me know if you still have the issue as it may be a cartridge issue.
