PSC 750 + Windows 7

I was able to download a driver so that I now can print and scan on my HP PSC 750.  Is there a way to estimate ink levels, or will such capabilities be added soon?  Thanks.

Re: PSC 750 + Windows 7

Please, please let me know or copy me the link to the driver.  It would be greatly appreciated.  I have a HP PSC 750 and I'm trying to link my new laptop.  It's a great printer and scanner and i don't want to buy a new one.  I keep trying to download links i think will work, but to no avail.  THANKS!

Re: PSC 750 + Windows 7

There are different drivers depending on your OS.  From HP's website, begin here:

Re: PSC 750 + Windows 7

[ Edited ]

I purchased a Gateway laptop with Win 7 64 bit OS.  I have downloaded the driver for my good old HP PSC 750 all-in-one printer, but I cannot print.  Whenever I attempt to print from an application (e.g., MS Word or Excel), an error occurs and it states the document in the print queue is preventing the printing of the document.  I have attempted this many time and used troubleshooting to apparently fix the problem, but to no avail.

I hope I do not have to buy another printer.  Thank you for your assistance.

Re: PSC 750 + Windows 7

Try this - The fix for me was here, very first entry - http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Software-and/After-Windows-7-upgrade-Printer-is-inst... .

The key is to delete the HP printers showing in the "Installed Printer Drivers" showing in "Printer Server Properties" as indicated.  I am now printing and scanning on a C6180 under Win 7 x64 with the latest HP Full installation.

Re: PSC 750 + Windows 7

Windows 7 already has the driver downloaded, you just have to install it.  I wasn't able to use my scanner on my Windows 7 operating system so I looked into how to use it and found this: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01796879&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&os=4063&product=577...   You have to use a workaround procedure because the scanner button on the printer won't function with the windows 7.  Yay I'm able to scan now and so can you.

Re: PSC 750 + Windows 7

I finally succeeded in installing a driver for my PSC 750. Go to Control Panel -> System and Security -> Windows Update. In the left panel, click on Check for Updates. Windows found and installed the driver. (Don't understand why it didn't do this when it detected the printer, but oh well.)
