I just purchased the 5514 yesterday and had some troubles with set up. It took me sometime to actually get the printer to connect to my network, but a quick reboot of the device fixed that.
I then continued to configure the software (latest form website) for the printer on my Win7 Ultimate x64 computer. When trying to add the printer the software was "unable to find printer". I am absolutely positive that I typed in the correct IP address of the printer. I even went ahead and manually configured the printer to have a static address within its settings. I've tried restarting the printer, my computer router and my modem with no success.
I was able to add the printer to Windows just fine in the Control Panel and print, but I would like to make full use of the HP software so I can scan and such.

Hi, unfortunately there may be an issue with the software that is posted on the web. You will likely be able to install successfully using the CD that came in the box. The CD in the box still has the latest version of software, so you are not missing anything from not using the software from the web.
