Photosmart C4250 printer issue

I have downloaded and run the diagnostic tool, which shows all is working well...even does the print test okay...then I keep getting the message: Print Cartridge missing or not detected...I have installed two different new HP cartridges, both of which show full of ink in the test diagnostic...any suggestions?  aloha
