All,
I have a PC which I recently upgraded from Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit to the corresponding version of Windows 7. Since the upgrade, I have not been able to get the computer to recognize my Photosmart C6150 AIO printer. I've downloaded the Windows 7 64-bit drivers from the support site and tried to install them. The installer gets to the point where it asks how my printer is connected, and I select the wireless option. The installer then detects the printer and attempts to connect to it, by fails displaying a big red circle which an X in it.
I then have the choice of hitting the Retry or Next buttons. If I hit retry, it repeatedly fails, if I hit next it tells me the printer couldn't be detected.
BTW, I have a PC that was upgraded from 32 bit Vista Home Premium to 32 bit Windows 7 Ultimate and it has no such problem.
Any suggestions?

Try this - The fix for me was here, very first entry - http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-So
The key is to delete the HP printers showing in the "Installed Printer Drivers" showing in "Printer Server Properties" as indicated. I am now printing and scanning on a C6180 under Win 7 x64 with the latest HP Full installation
