Cannot load software for 8600 Plus. Get an error:
Installation Error
Error 1722: Failed to add port monitor HP Discovery Port Monitor (HP Officejet Pro 8600).
The Windows Print Spooler could not be started and must be running in order for the installation to succeed. Please start the service and click Retry to continue installation.
Anyone have a fix for this?

Hi,
Please do this:
- Click Start,
- Type services.msc in the Search box and press Enter,
- Locate Spooler service and double click (it may ask for Admi password)
- Start it and keep it start Automatic
- Click Ok/Apply to get out

I followed these instructions and got the following error message:
Windows could not start the Print Spooler service on Local computer. Error 3: The system cannot find the Path specified.
Any other suggestions?
