Can someone tell me the best settings to use on my printer in order to make the ink last the longest possible? I'm not concerned much about the quality of what I print.
My printer is a HP Photosmart C6380 All-in-One printer

Hi Burchk,
You would want to use the Draft setting which would use less ink.

Thank you for the response. Could you give me step-by-step directions as to where I can choose the "draft" mode? I'm afraid I don't know how to do this.
Thank you,

Hi Burchk,
You will want to change the quality setting in Print Preferences to FastDraft. Check out the document at the link below.

this is helpful, but basically, on the question of why your cartfidge doesn't print, everyone is saying that [Text Deleted] about the number of pages a customer can get with a cartridge. It is marginally possible to get 200, (as opposed to the advertised 250) but only if you're using draft and don't have much material on the page. For normal business or personal use this is DECEPTIVE at best. Mkes me wish I had bought the KODAK.
