I am trying to install a new HP OfficeJet 6500 E709 printer. Here is my hardware setup. Computer is a MacBook Pro OS-X 10.5.8. Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router, firmware updated to v1.02.8. Asante FriendlyNet 8-port Ethernet Hub. When I connect to my local area network via hardwired Ethernet I am able to print from any Ethernet connection. However, when I try to print when my laptop is connected to my LAN via only the Linksys wireless router, the computer doesn't see the printer at all. So, I am suspecting that some setting in the Linksys router is blocking the communication between the printer (which is on the Ethernet network) and my laptop which is communicating to the LAN wirelessly through the Linksys router. Can you help me?

This will be the easiest problem to solve today. After upgrading the firmware in my Linksys wireless router, low and behold, I can now print on the OfficeJet 6500. Problem solved.
