There is no setup file listed. I gave you everything I had in that folder.

There should be a lot of files in the %temp% folder unless it's been cleaned out. Most applications will dump their temporary files there.

Can you try start->run and enter %tmp% and see if it opens the same location?

 

Here's a snippet of the temp folder on one of my systems with the file circled. The localtion in the address bar c:\Docume~1\<username inserted here>\Locals~1\Temp is the following location

 

c:\Documents and Settings\<username inserted here>\Local Settings\Temp

 

Also, are you running this install under a user account with administration permissions?

Found the Temp location you were referring to however no .log file. LOTS of hp files but don't see one with the .log extension

This is listed as solved, but I'm not sure why. Did you manage to get the printer installed? What seemed to be the issue if you know?
