Retro Driver ETA?

How often does HP put out drivers for old computers? I have an officejet pro 8600 Ai1, and I'm running Mac OS 10.4 which isn't supported. I'm trying to get an idea of what my options are.

Hey there. Unfortunately OS 10.4 is no longer supported and there will not be a release for it. It is possible you could use an alternative driver to see if it gets you up and running. I would try this driver for the Officejet 8500:

 

HP Officejet Full Feature Software and Driver (Universal) - Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5
