Hi balubeto,
If you have the printer driver installed on the Admin account you can use add a printer to add it for the user accounts as the print driver will be loaded on the computer. If you have more than one computer then you will need to run the basic driver on all the computer to connect to this printer.

Hi balubeto,
Need to log into your user accounts, and then run the basic driver you downloaded for the admin account.

In other words, should I install the driver in an Administrators account and in any Users account. Right? If yes, the developers of HP drivers go against.
THANKS

Hi balubeta,
Yes, you will need to install the printer on each of your accounts.

Your idea not work because when I try to install these drivers in an Users account, the program asks for administrator rights.
So, you have any other ideas?

Hi balubeto,
If you have the user accounts set to require admin login to install a program then you are going to have to log in to complete the installation. The issues you are having are due to your computer operating system, and the way you have the user accounts setup. For assistance with your operating system you will need to contact Microsoft technical support.

Hello again,
Thank you for all your effort. I'm sure your solution would have worked just fine, but as it turned out, I didn't need to go through all that after all.
Before I jumped through all those hoops, i decided to try a simpler solution mentioned earlier. I simply did a "partial reset" and that did the trick! Now everything is working perfectly, just like before.
By the way, is there such a thing as a full reset? if so, how does one do that?
Again, thanks for your time and the solution your offered.
Take care.

Hi av8rdude,
I am happy to hear resetting the printer resolved the issue. There is an full reset, but if this is not done properly it can cause damage to the printer this is why we do not provide the steps on the forum. Have a wonderful day.
