Trouble installing HP4050 laserjet on Windows 7 HP 520PC

Old printer using parallet to usb adapter. PC regognized the device but doesnt install properly.  I tried downloading the drivers from HP but I get the 0x800f... error.. 

 

Help is much appreciated.
