Hi. I have a new LaserJet 100 colour MFP M175nw connected to my Vista 32bit desktop computer and the printer seems to work fine after switch on.
The problem I have is that when the printer goes into standby mode & I then try and print a document, the printer does nothing.
If I restart my computer, a warning pops up saying "USB Device not recognised" and I still cannot print anything from the sleeping printer.
The only way I can wake it up is to briefly press th red "X" or switch off, then on the printer.
I've downloaded the latest software & drivers but it's still the same.
Can anyone help?

Hi grillphil,
Have you tried using a new USB cable?
How long is the USB cable you are currently using?
What happens if you use a different USB port on the computer?
HP designed a quick and easy tool that diagnoses and resolves many printing, scanning, and connectivity problems: The HP Print and Scan Doctor. HP recommends that you download and install the Print and Scan Doctor any time you need to troubleshoot a problem with your HP printer from the link below.
Let me know what errors you receive?

Many thanks pcwizard. The USB cable is 1m long which came with the printer from HP.
I'll try a different USB port and see what happens.
I have the HP ToolboxFX installed and it does not detect that there is a USB fault. In fact it says that the printer is connected. Very strange.
I'll let you know how I get on.
Thanks.
