Unable to re-install (installation error) software for Photosmart Premium C309

download this software its the drivers for your printer after you install this uninstall the old software

I have downloaded the software, but halted the installation. Do you want me to proceed with installation?

yes install the driver from our website before u install the driver on your computer uninstall the old software first

No - exactly the same problem occurs. I believe all existing software and drivers must have been deleted as when the installation fails it says it is deleting everything then restarts the system. I can't find any remaining software anyway.

OK so this is what i need you to do .. i need you to click the start menu > type %temp%> look for a 7z folder open it up and it should say photosmart full feature software>double click it >click util>click ccc>then scroll down and select uninstall l3 and let that uninstall tell me when that finishes . thx

There are five 7Z folders as follows:

7zS1AA1.tmp

7zS4CB0

7zS677D

7zS739F

7zS1775

but none of these appear to hold Photosmart Full Feature software as you describe.

Having checked again. I found that some of the folders had the specified files in, so I have now run the "delete" and the system has automatically restarted.
