Should have said uninstall - not delete - in my last post. Where do we go from here, please?

Got the printer back working again by doing a system restore. Thanks for all your time.

I was having installation issues as well. Multiple times I received different errors. I finally figured it out.
Here is the process. Look on your install cd. Uninstall all of the hp software for the printer. Search your install cd for a ccc folder inside that folder you will see Uninstall_L1, Uninstall_L2, Uninstall_L3, Uninstal
Copy the ccc folder to the root of c. C:\
open a command prompt.
type this
cd c:\ccc <enter>
uninstall_L3 <enter>
reboot
turn off the wireless on the printer.
Have a USB cable ready. Plug it into the back of the printer.
download and run the latest full feature software for your operating system.
turn on the wireless adapter on the printer
Install the printer using the USB option. Once this is done when you click the start button you should see USB to wireless in the click start- all programs- hp- photosmart c309 series. then click on usb to wireless.
Follow the onscreen prompts.
reboot.
These are the steps I took to resolve my issue on Windows 7 64 bit.
