Unable to scan on OfficeJet 4500 G510n-z under "Windows 7 starter" - Installation issue? [ Edited ]

Recently purchased OfficeJet 4500 G510n-z and installed the SW from supplied CD on Toshiba Laptop running Windows 7 Starter - NOTE during installation of the printer SW I had only one option enabled: "Minimal SW Install".

How and what SW do I need to install to enable the san support on this LapTop?

FYI:- I've also installed this same HP SW on the Windows XP laptop and I am able to scan the documents to that computer (in this case I belive I've selected the "Full SW Install" option which was disabled on Windows 7 Starter installation.

Could you provide links/instructions for the necessry SW install to support scan function on Widows 7 Starter?

Windows 7 Starter will allow you to install minimal software only.

It is an OS limitation, as the Starter edition does not allow more than 3 Applications to run at a time.

IMPORTANT NOTES
For Windows XP SP 1 Starter Edition and Windows Vista Starter Edition

Only printer drivers and the Toolbox are available 
Is supported for USB only 
Hardware Setup Wizard is not available

If you only want the drivers (without the Full Software Suite), it is available as a separate download named "HP Officejet Basic Print and Scan Driver".

soI guess the only way to get this the scan work in my case is to upgrade to full Window 7??

By using the Starter edition, you may scan sing Windows Fax and Scan:

Use one of the following methods to scan a document.

Method one: Scan with Windows Fax and Scan

1. Click the Windows ( ) icon.
2. Click All Programs .
3. Click Windows Fax and Scan .
4. Click New Scan , and then click Scan .

In order to use the full feature HP Software (e.g HP Solution Software, scanning from the Front Panel, Fax from or to the PC) you will have to upgrade your OS to any other edition than Starter.
