I have a Photosmart C4385 all-in-one and I have gotten the wireless to work before, many times. However, I can't currently print through wireless. I've had this problem before, and the only solution that I have been able to find is to uninstall and re-install all the software on the disk . I'm really tired of having to take all those steps.
I do think that my router may be partially to blame as it is the biggest piece of junk in the world. It's a Belkin C or D or something and I have to restart it when I get wireless problems, but my printer is usually powered down when I do this (though not unplugged). Does anyone have a better solution for me, or should I just start unplugging my printer when I restart my router to make sure that it is off too?

Sounds like printer not getting an IP address from the router.
Try print out the current network diagnostic setting of the printer, it should help to show some clues.

I'm not sure what I'm looking for on the Network config. page, but it does say that the IP Address is 192.168.2.6 which is the same IP Address listed on my Belkin G router's properties.

HP Utility download
HP guide here
The goal is to find out what IP address the printer has got from the 'Belkin Router-Auto DHCP'.
Then try start>run>cmd>ping 192.168.2.2(example if this is the printer's IP addres)
If there is reply, you're halfway done, the rest is pointing to where the drivers are located to the OS.

After Pinging my IP it says that it sent four packets and received four with a 0% loss. I assume that means it "passed"? I'm sorry, I learned a new trick, but I'm still oblivious as to how to fix this problem. I've tried calling tech support but my warranty is out and the HP solutions are not helping. (It suggested uninstall/re-install.)
I'm nearly ready to throw this thing out the window.

if you are unable to print from wireless network follow the below steps this might help you .
Solution 1 :
Check the if the communiction is working fine between the printer and computer . follow the below steps to check the communication between the printer and computer .
Please open Internet Explorer window on your computer. Type the IP address of the printer on the address bar of the Internet explorer window and press enter.
if you see printer information page with ink levels displayed on page that means communication is working fine.
If communication is working fine follow the below steps to resolve this issue.
Depending on the operating system which ever you have go control panel and delete the printer icon from printer folder .
Once you delete the printer icon using the CD or downloaded file of All-in-one do add a device and select wireless or network and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installtion procedd
HOPE THIS WILL RESOLVE THE ISSUE ,.![]()
