I have installed the hp toolbox, but it has installed in spanish and I need it in English. can I change it

What is the language of your operating system? Sometimes software checks the system language and will install that language instead.

My OS is English, BUT some installations inc HP seems to default to spanish.

I do have my keyboard set to English

I have a HP Pavillion g6

running Windows 7 Home

It sounds like some aspect of windows might think its in spanish. I would try this Knowledge Base (KB) from microsoft to verify your system language at the bottom of the page it describes similar issues where some programs are in a different language try that link as well.

I had to play a bit ,but it was the system locale was set to spanish. So if anyone else needs to know how, pass it on
