I am having difficulty changing the ink cartridge in my HP Photosmart 7510. When I open the door the cartridge does not come to the center to allow me to make the change. It stays to the right hand corner which makes it impossible to change in that position. Please Help.

Hello DeeLa,
If the carriage doesn't move to the center when you open the door then it would have to be manually moved to the center.
Before manually moving it though we should try restarting the printer
- Press the Power button (
) to turn off the product. - Wait 60 seconds.
- Press the Power button (
) to turn on the product.
Once the printer is back on open the carriage door and see if the tray moves to the center.
If it does not move then turn the printer off and unplug from the power source. You will want no power going to the printer when manually moving the printer carriage. Once you have turned off all power, open the door and manaully slide the bay to the center of the door, replace any ink cartridges you was replacing the close the door. Once the door is closed plug the printer back in and turn it on. You should hear the printer start up and the tray sliding back over.
