documents stuck in print queue

Ok here goes, Hp Laserjet 1018.  I just upgraded my acer netbook with win7 Pro 32bit OS.  Installed wireless epson, works great. On my dell desktop running win7 home Premium 64bit.  I installed the the hp 1018 prints fine, I shared the hp and am trying to get it to work on the netbook.  d/l'd the 1018 driver for win7 32 bit fm hp.  Issues started when trying to print test page, didn't print, tried deleting didn't work. Uninstalled/reinstalled printer same problem.  Uninstalled printer again, stopped spooler, checked printer folder it was empty. Installed printer again, shows 1 document to print, there is no document.  I have been searching internet for answers, except for deleting the files under the w32x86 which might also delete the epson driver too, which I haven't done.  Anybody got any more ideas?

Thanks but I tried that option too.  win7 host to win7 pc.  After the rinstalled and then cli9cking on the printer it state 1 print job in queue but there is no document listed.

Hi, does the 1018 print ok if connected directly to the Acer?

Yes it will print direct to printer when connected w/usb cable
