Hi,

Please clarify how you try to install the printer.

Are you ussing any installation CD?

 

If so, make sure you aware that the CD is not intended for Windows7.

 

In order to configure the printer for Windows 7, make sure to follow the steps below:

If you got the error while plugging the USB without installing any software, try plugging teh cable into another USB port of the PC and check for any change.

 

If the same persists, I would suggest you to try a different USB cable.

 

If there is no change, try following the steps below:
