installing HP Deskjet F4100 on Windows 7

My printer was working perfectly on my old computer with Windows vista, but I have just bought a new Windows 7 computer and it won't let me install the printer, saying it is only compatable with Windows 200 - Windows vista, and I must upgrade my computer. I don't want to downgrade my computer. Need foolproof, idiot-style instructions as to what to do. Can't go back to old computer as it broke.  HELP

Could you help here too.My Hp deskjet D1660. Same problem,,my Win 7 64bits won't install the driver properly?

I downloaded that driver form HP site, not the full version though.
