printer offline

i do not what to do the printer is offline i tried lots of thing

Hi,

Check if Printer is Offline

Please follow the steps given below to check if the printer is Online or Offline (Windows).

1.  Click Start >> Printers and Faxes.

2.  In the Printer and Faxes window, Right Click your Printer.

3.  Check in the dropdown menu see if the printer is Offline or  Online.

4.  If it is Offline, please click Use Printer Online.

5.  Now try printing.

My Photosmart Airprint was working well till I unplugged it for a month and now I cant get it to go on line or to print from the Iphone or Ipad

I have Windows 7 and though your directions are close in what you say it is a little different? My comp shows start-devices and printers- right click on my printer- but there is nothing about printer online or offline?

I have HP Officejet 5500 and it went offline when I installed new ink cartridge.

I have tried going to the Printers/Faxes on Windows and resetting it to ONLINE and it says it is already online..  but the printer isn't online when Itry to print.
