my printer hp deskjet f4435 using msxp, will print a test page, although its a bit light. but it will not print a page that i typed in ms word or note pad. when i hit print a page is cycled through the printer but no print is on the paper. note the printer has not been used for a while.. can you help me. terry

same problem, could it be that the ink cartrige has dried out? this is my wife`s unit and is not connected to the internet. and has not been used to print for well over a year.
