printing posters

How do I print an A3 poster using my new hp photosmart 5515 model B111h printer.

I had no trouble with my old Epsom printer!!

Hi ru2012,

This printer doesn't support A3 paper size. Refer to the following chart below. You will need to invest into a large format printer like the Officejet 7500a. I have posted links to the product specification data sheet, and to the Officejet 7500a printer below the chart.

Surely I can print an A3  poster using A4 paper and glue??

Does the printer not have this capability to layout the pages?

Hi ru2012,

If you want to print a A3 image onto A4 size paper this may not print correclty or require you to crop and cut the image to place it back together. In order to print the A3 image on A4 I would suggest resizing the image format to fix A4 media before attempting to print it out.

I wonder if I am asking the correct question. It is a poster I want to print, total size A3 but made up of 4 A4 sheets.

Is this possible?

No there is no specific setting for poster printing on this printer. You will need to print them out and place them together.
