Hi,

Please make sure to get the latest firmware for your printer first.

While both the printer and the iPad connected to the same network, your iPad should see the printer automatically using Apple's Airprint.

If the same iPad can't locate the printer with the latest firmware while both of the devices connected to the same network, please clarify your router brand and model.
