reloading after computer crash psc 2410

I have had to reload the drivers for psc 2410 photosmart and it has sofar taken 4 hours and still not finished. What is wrong?

It is hard to say without a bit more information.  What is the operating system?  Are you using the original CD or did you download drivers from HP?  Did you disconnect the printer before starting the install (generally the installer wants the software to be isntalled before the printer is connected)?  Are there any messages on the screen?  Is the program waiting fro an input from you (if in WIndows use alt-tab to flip between windows).
