Hi, the program msicuu2, doesn't work, every time I try to open it, it goes to installation automatically.
A dialog box will displayed that contains a message and a list of installed products, and four buttons doesn't appear ![]()

Folks - I'm sorry I didn't write sooner but the actual solution to my popup windows problem was solved when I thoroughly uninstalled the HP software for my Officejet J4580 (in my case version 10), including solution center, and reinstalled the 4 necessary parts of the software HAVING TURNED OFF VISTA'S USER ACCOUNT CONTROL. Once I installed version 12 with user account control off, the solution center (and all other printer functions) worked perfectly with no popup windows or error messages. But, if I turn on user account control, I suddenly get these popup windows and error messages that are part of this thread. There is something about Vista's user account control that does not allow certain software to install or run properly. I've turned user account control off and will not turn it back on.
My latest glitch happened recently when I installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (version 10.1). Immediately, I started to get the popup windows again. So, I used system restore to take my system back to just before the Adobe installation and it (Solution Center Version 12) works perfectly again. This must be related to the Adobe Flash subissue reflected in earlier comments on this thread? If so, does anyone know how to solve this problem PERMANENTLY so that I can install Adobe Flash Player updates?

Just wanted to take the time to say THANKS!. After spending MANY hours trying to fix the missing solutioncenter.msi I ran across your post. I downloaded the latest Flash from Adobe and changed the file names as you directed. I use vista 64.
PROBLEM SOLVED.
Thanks again for people like you. People like me need all the help we can get.

I can't believe HP hasn't got a downloadable fix for this!
