yellow ink cartridge not detected

I have an HP c6180 all-in-one printer. I replaced the yellow cartridge. When I print a document I get the following message:

To print in color, install the following cartridge:
Yellow

To print with black ink only, click Black only. The printer will replace colors with grayscale
etc.

When I select the black only button the colored document prints fine including the yellow color.

When I check the ink status using the Tools menu on the printer the yellow cartridge shows full.
When I go to the computer and check ink stustus the yellow is full.
I have tried removing the cartridge and reinstalling it but nothing changes

When I do a print head alignment everything is fine and I get all the cartridge colors printer. I have tried

reseting the printer by unplugging it and waiting 30 sec.

I have even replaced the yellow cartridge with another one with the same results. I have clearned the contacts in the printer and on the cartridge. I am using HP cartridges in all locations.

Please help
