Hello,

I see that you're having an issue printing a certain document.

I would suggest doing a hard reset first.

Hard Reset:

Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and wall

Wait 30 sec

Then plug the cord back into the printer, and then the wall (make sure the printer is not plugged into a surge protector.)

Next, if that doesn't resolve the issue, I would uninstall the drivers. Once you uninstall the software, reinstall the drivers from here. You will need to install the full feature software.

 Let me know the outcome.

Re: C4400 all in one printer and windows 8

Hello,

I have previuosly  tried what you said to do, but i did what you suggested and as before it did not work. The unistall wizard came up with a message stating that it had failed to delet all the files. However when i went into control panel unistall i could not see any HP programs.

I tried to download the drivers and software with my spyware etc turned of, as i remember reading that this may affect the installation, and a message appeared stating that the file was corrupt.

Anything else that you could suggest

Thanks

Ok,

I downloaded the file and it still does not work. It prints the first page and then starts printing random symbols on the top of the page only.

Thanks

What happens when you print from internet explorer or from word with your name typed in the document?

No difference, still doesn't print more than one page before the problem starts. It just prints a single line of random symbols on the top of the page.
