OK, can you try using a different USB cord, and then after replacing the cord, try printing a couple of pages. You might want to try and uninstall the software, and then reinstall once you replace the cord.
Let me know if you've already tried a different USB cord.

I see that you're having an issue printing a certain document.
I would suggest doing a hard reset first.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and wall
Wait 30 sec
Then plug the cord back into the printer, and then the wall (make sure the printer is not plugged into a surge protector.)
Next, if that doesn't resolve the issue, I would uninstall the drivers. Once you uninstall the software, reinstall the drivers from here. You will need to install the full feature software.
Let me know the outcome.

I have previuosly tried what you said to do, but i did what you suggested and as before it did not work. The unistall wizard came up with a message stating that it had failed to delet all the files. However when i went into control panel unistall i could not see any HP programs.
I tried to download the drivers and software with my spyware etc turned of, as i remember reading that this may affect the installation, and a message appeared stating that the file was corrupt.
