HP Deskjet 1050 J410 printer not compatible with windows 8?

HIya, I have just bought the HP Deskjet 1050 all in one J410 series printer. When i try and run the cd on my windows 8 laptop it keeps coming up with a message saying 'your OS system is not compatabile with the hp deskjet 1050 J410 series'. I was wondering if you could help me with this? Thanks

Did you search the web for the new drivers?  I did for you and quickly found them here.

Re: HP2510 not working

Hi I have just bought a new printer.  It says that the cartilages are not installed properly, however, they are as far as I can see from the diagrams.  What can I do?

Re: HP Deskjet 1050 J410 printer not compatible with windows 8?

You rock!  Thank you! I had to buy a new laptop and it had Windows 8 on it and all I had was the original installation cd that was only compatible with the old versions of Windows.  I am now up and running.

I appreciate you posting this answer!
