Hi, my OfficeJet 5510 was printing just fine. Then it suddenly gave me the error message "Remove and check black cartridge." The cartridge has plenty of ink in it. Removed and replaced the cartridge. No luck. Switched to another HP black cartridge. Same error. Any suggestions?

Only two suggestions for you, but they might do the trick:
Try as many troubleshooting steps as you can from the documents below. The only step you should skip is buying a new cartridge, since you just got a new one.
